World Without End Part I

Since I finished Part I of World Without End yesterday I have NOT been able to quit thinking about it.  It was incredibly good, and has me wanting to study English history more.  I'm sure it isn't that historically accurate, but if World History were that interesting in college I can promise I would have learned a lot more than I did when I took that course!

It's showing on Reelz, so those of you with cable probably don't have the "luxury" of watching it as it premiers.  However, I know I want to read the books now, and I will be sure to let you know how those are.  If they are half as good as the miniseries then they are worth every single penny! I know I won't be getting them from our local library though, because I'm not paying the $75 Membership fee anymore (I live outside city limits *rolls eyes*).

On a side note, in the event you were able to watch Part I, how perfect would Merthin be for my friend Laura?  I think they should get married and have pretty English babies and live in a castle...that's just my personal opinion though.  I'm sure Laura agrees! ;-)

When I get my hands on these books I'll be sure to let you know how they are!  You know me, not afraid to give my opinion!

  1. I think that's an amazing idea! And I would love for you to get into English history so I'd have someone to talk to about it!

  2. Well a couple of years ago I went on a Russian History spree. I checked out EVERY book the library had about it...you know, when I had my membership :-|
